The 2010-11 VI Men's Golf Team will feature one of the most talented teams in the school's history. Among the returning players is All-AAC performer, Justin Brown, senior Stephen Adeimy, sophomore Bryant Braithwaite and sophomore Ryan Harrington. Brown, Adeimy and Braithwaite played in every tournament for the Cobras in the 2009-10 seasons.

Zane Rollins and Tim Wilson signed letters of intent to play golf for VI this fall. Rollins and Wilson are both transferring from USC-Lancaster junior college, where they were both vital members of the golf team.

The Virginia Intermont Men's Golf Team received the Appalachian Athletic Conference "Champions of Character" award for the 2009-2010 season.
VI shot 315 each round on "The General" course at Barnsley Gardens Resort in Adairsville, Ga., a 7,300-yard monster that Cobras coach Louis Collier said played even a few hundred yards longer on Tuesday as conditions got gusty.

VI Men's Golf Team finishes fourth in Spring AAC Event
The Cobras Men's Golf Team finished fourth in the Spring AAC event this past Monday and Tuesday. The fourth place finish was three spots better than last year and the Cobras posted the third best score on Tuesday.

The Virginia Intermont Men's Golf Team competed in a 36 hole one-day event on Thursday, March 25, 2010. The event was the Milligan College Shootout and took place in Elizabethton, Tn.
