Josh is beginning his third season as head coach and is a native of Lubbock, Texas. Josh began his college playing career at Frank Phillips Junior College in Borger, Texas and played there for two years. He then transferred to Eastern New Mexico University for one semester. Once leaving (ENMU), he came to Virginia Intermont College in 2002. He finished up his playing career and graduated from VI in 2004 with a degree in Sports Management. Once he graduated, he became as assistant coach and has continued coaching for the past five years.

As an alumnus of the College and the baseball program, Coach Swain is working hard to improve the competitiveness of the program. Finding quality players, who are true student athletes who can compete at a high level, is his main concern for the future. Coach Swain resides in Bristol, Virginia. 

Tyler Belcher is a Bristol, Virginia native. He attended Virginia High School where he played baseball. After graduating he attended Old Dominion University and played baseball for the Monarchs. One of Tyler's former teammates was Justin Verlander, pitcher for the Detroit Tigers. Tyler played each summer in the Valley League, wooden bat league, for the Winchester Royals and during the summer of his senior year he was signed as a free agent to the Florida Marlins. His first year, he was assigned to the Jamestown Jammers in Jamestown New York, his second season he was moved to the Greensboro Grasshoppers. After retiring from professional baseball Tyler has been pursuing his career and giving baseball lessons to aspiring girls and boys in the local area.Tyler will assume the responsibilities of  pitching coach for the Cobras.
