Dakota graduated from Virginia High School where he played second base for the Bearcats. Katelouzos was named to the 2nd Team All-District as a junior, 1st Team All District and Regional and 2nd Team All-State his senior year.

Dakota graduated Cum Laude with honors.

Coach Josh Swain commented, " We are excited to have Dakota join our program. He is a hard worker both on and off of the field and will be an asset to VI baseball as well as the VI campus."
