Marshall Phillips will continue his education and his soccer career with VI Cobra soccer in the fall.
Marshall is a Chester, VA native where he recently graduated and played varsity soccer for three years for the Knights. Phillips assisted the Knights in winning three district titles and one regional title while playing. In 2008 the Knight were regional champions and state semi-finalist.
 
In 2009 Marshall contributed seven goals and eight assists as the Knights were undefeated in regular season and he also scored the winning goal in the district tournament. His 2010 year, Marshall scored 10 goals and had 11 assists in 17 games.
 
Coach Robert Ssejjemba commented, " Marshall is a versatile player having played center midfield/defensive mid and forward. He uses his strength and size very well in the air and is very comfortable distributing the ball".
