In a small ceremony held at Abingdon High School with family, friends and her high school coaches in attendance, Salonia signed her letter of intent to continue her education and softball career at Virginia Intermont College.

Thorn will be an outfielder for the Lady Cobras and will persue a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.

Coach Senter commented, " Salonia is an excellent student and will be an asset to our program and  to the VI campus."
