Christopher is from Newport News, VA where he graduated from Warwick High School. While attending Warwick High School, Chris, played varsity soccer for the Raiders for three years and also competed in indoor track events.

Due to a torn ACL in his knee,  which required surgery,Bennett will redshirt his first year. Coach Ssejjemba stated," Chris will be greatly missed this season but we look forward to getting him back. He is a good forward and has an eye for goal."
