DECATUR, Ala. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that 275 softball players have been named 2010 Daktronics-NAIA Softball Scholar-Athletes
.
Nominated by each institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have achieved junior academic status to qualify.
Heather Odle, infielder for the Lady Cobras and Kristen Dyer, pitcher, were both named to the team.
Coach Eric Senter commented, " I can't express how proud I am of these young ladies. They are both hard workers on and off of the softball field."
