In a ceremony held in the gymnasium at Calvary Christian Academy in Ormond Beach, FL, Shelby committed to come to Virginia Intemont College to continue her education and to play volleyball for the Lady Cobras.

Shelby has been a dual sport athlete while at Calvary Christian Academy playing softball and volleyball. She has been named to the All-District team for softball her 8th, freshman and sophomore years as well as the MVP. In volleyball she was named the MVP her junior and senior years and to the All-District team her sophomore, junior and senior years and Athlete of the Year her sophomore year.

Conner is also an excellent academic student having been named to the President's List all four years of high school, given the Academic Excellence Award her junior year and Salutatorian her senior year.

" Shelby is an excellent student as well as individual, we are looking forward to having her join our squad and our campus community," commented Coach Lauren Kinser.
