"Daniela is a fantastic addition to Virginia Intermont as a student and as a soccer player. She's a tall, athletic player with soccer in her family," said Head Coach Katy Stigers.
Daniela graduated from Gateway Charter High School in Fort Myers, Fla where she played varsity soccer for three seasons as a sweeper leading Gateway Charter to a 17-4-2 record.
She was named to the Lee County All-Star team and played club soccer for five years.
Daniela is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars and ranked second in her class at Gateway Charter out of 199 students.
"I'm glad she decided she wasn't ready to stop playing soccer and look forward to having her in our program while she pursues her goal of studying to become a doctor," said Stigers.
