VI got off to a slow start offensively in the first game but defensively Kristen Dyer pitched a one hitter and only allowed one walk. She also struck out 9 batters. The Lady Cobras' bats came alive in the second game pounding out 6 hits in the bottom of the second inning including a two run homer by Heather Odle and a sole homerun by Haley Odle.

Meliisa Hudgins earned the win in the circle for the Cobras. The ladies will be back in action Saturday, March 27th at Highland View field hosting Milligan College. First pitched is slated for 2 p.m.
