KINGSPORT, TN - VI volleyball concluded their season with a loss to Montreat College in 4 sets (25-13, 17-25, 25-20, 25-22) in the opening round of the AAC tournament in Kingsport.
VI won the second set as they posted a .387 hitting percentage but couldn't hang on with the Lady Cavaliers in the next two ending their season at 10-22.
VI had two players score in double figures in kills in DuFault (10) and Blessing (13).
Senior Tori Starnes led VI in assists with 18 and Freshman Ashley Hooven added 17.
Four Lady Cobras had double figures in digs (Tiffany Vu - 18, Blessing - 14, Rachael Bell - 12, Hooven - 11).
