Willard will graduate from Christiansburg High School this spring where he has lettered on the golf team all four years and was frequently a number one position player for the Blue Demons.

John has participated in the Blue Ridge Junior's Tour the past two years with his best finish at the Greenbriar finishing second place. He has also competed in the Commonwealth games as a sophomore and a junior and medaled his junior year. He often trains and participates in summer tournaments with his uncle who is PGA golf professional, Jimmy Williams.
