Craven currently attends Colleton Prearatory Academy where she has collected many accolades. Laura has been named a Coker Scholar, Lander Junior Fellow, Presbyterian College Scholar and won a 2010 Softball Academic Award.

She was named to the 2010 SCISA All-State team, 2009 and 2010 SCISA All-Region team, 2010 SCISA North-South All-Star team. Laura helped her high school team to 2009 State Championship and a 2010 state runner up finish.

"We are very excited about Laura coming to VI," said Coach Eric Senter. "Her skills on the mound are very impressive and she will be an impact addition to our pitching staff."
