Ashlynn Scott, Orlando, Florida native signed her letter of intent to play softball for Virginia Intermont College in the fall 2010. Ashlynn will graduate from Colonial High School this spring and will join the Lady Cobras in the fall. She is a pitcher and a first baseman for the Grenadiers and she was awarded the 2009 Defensive Player of the Year. Scott is also the senior captian for her team and she plays travel softball for the Sting. Her travel coach, Dave Occhialini commented, " Ashlynn has worked very hard for this opportunity and I am sure she will be very successful."
