Bristol, VA- Marshall Phillips scored twice in the first half and Austin Dunleavy added another goal in the third minute of the second half en route to a 3-1 victory over Cumberland University in men's soccer action Tuesday night in Bristol, Va.

The Cobras (1-3-0) scored twice when the Bulldogs made poor passes back to the keeper. Cumberland (1-2-0) dropped its second straight match.
 

Phillips put VIC ahead with a goal in the 20th minute, but Robert Als tied the score in the 26th minute on an assist from Robert Boyd. Phillips struck again just before halftime for his second goal of the season.  Austin Dunleavy netted the final goal for the Cobras in the 48th minute. 

 
The Cobras play their next game at home against Conference opponent, Tennessee Wesleyan on Saturday Sept. 11th at sugar Hollow Park, kick time is 7pm.
