Jerrod "Scottie"Hendricks, a 5'8"guard from Radford High School has signed his letter of intent to play basketball at Virginia Intermont College.

Hendricks was a key component on the 2008-2009 Bobcat team that won the 2009 VHSL State Tournament. In the state final, Scottie broke the VHSL tournament record with 13 assists.

"We are pleased to have Scottie joining us at Virginia Intermont. He is a blur on the court and possesses a lock down defensive demeanor. Although Scottie is a tremendous athlete, he is a winner. He knows what it means to perform at a high level. He comes from a winning program and played for a coach(Rick Cormany) who gets it done on an annual basis,"commented Coach Scott Hoagland.

Hendricks is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hendricks of Christiansburg, VA
