BRISTOL, Va. – The Virginia Intermont women's soccer team signed a new member to the program Wednesday afternoon as Katie Barker, a standout player from John S. Battle High School in Bristol, Va., signed a national letter of intent to play her collegiate soccer career with the Lady Cobras.

BRISTOL, Va. - Virginia Intermont baseball signed pitcher/infielder Hunter Sargent out of Lebanon High School Tuesday afternoon.  Sargent inked a national letter of intent to play for the VI Cobras in 2014.

"We're excited to add Hunter to our team for next season," said Head Coach Jeremy Christian.  "He's an extremely hard worker and will fit nicely with the guys we already have in place here at VI."
